Covered in fragrant pine forests and surrounded by crystal-clear Adriatic waters, Korčula is one of Croatia’s most enchanting islands.
Its beautifully preserved medieval town, with its stone walls and narrow streets, has earned Korčula the nickname “Little Dubrovnik.”
The island combines historic architecture, peaceful villages, vineyards, beautiful beaches, and an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.
Korčula Old Town
A beautifully preserved medieval walled town with a distinctive fishbone street layout. The design helps protect the streets from strong winter winds while allowing refreshing summer breezes to flow through the town.
Korčula is also traditionally associated with Marco Polo, whose name remains closely connected with the town.
Lumbarda
A charming village surrounded by vineyards and beautiful beaches. Lumbarda is particularly known for Grk, a rare indigenous white wine variety cultivated on the island.
Vela Luka
Located on the western side of Korčula, Vela Luka is a picturesque harbour town with a relaxed waterfront promenade. Nearby Vela Spila cave is an important prehistoric archaeological site.
